With October being National Pit Bull Awareness Month, we really wanted to make an impression as we are avid Pit Bull lovers and advocate for the county shelter (which is loaded with Pit Bulls) as well as local organizations like Pittie Me Rescue and One Love Pit Bull Foundation that dedicate their time and effort to the most misunderstood breed. And what better way to do that then with a celebrity endorsement from one of our favorite rappers and actors who just so happened to own the most famous Pit Bull around?

Redman was the owner of Daddy, the world's most famous Pit Bull (1994-2010). Daddy rose to fame as the trusty sidekick and alpha pack leader of Cesar Milan on The Dog Whisperer. He was known for his calm temperament and tolerance for smaller dogs, making him the perfect role model for helping to rehabilitate other dogs suffering from behavioral issues. He was instrumental in helping to reshape the perception of the Pit Bull breed.
